I want alittle more style and sound from my 06 gt. I love the great gas mileage and ability to use regular gas. I do not need or seek more power and dont want to hurt mileage. i want to install the CDC shaker kit and some borla axle backs( the quieter ones)Will I have to "flash" the computer to make these mods work or can I run the stock settings without any engine damage?

What I have learn is that you can run on stock setting. CDC shaker doesn't need a flash tune. You're alright.

Ive been kinda eye ballin the shaker hood also. Good lucks. For the little to no performance it provides, its a very expensive set up for my budget.

The shaker is very cool, but the 1 to 2 hp gain you get certainly doesn't require a tune. The scoop is in a very poor position for getting air into the intake. The best place for a hood scoop on our stangs would be at the front left corner of the hood, wouldn't that look great [:@]
