Default Ford racing Packs

Just wanted to see if anyone has any opinions on the new Ford Racing Packs? I was thinking of buying the cold air intake and the tuner from them? Any comments either way?

Thanks in advance.

They are too expensive but are they made by ford? Will that ensure you a warranty.?

Actually they are cheaper then the AirRade Cold Air kit and tuner offered by Brensport...

The only thing that ensures you a warranty is the Ford Service Department you take it too.

Not worth it in my opinion....

FRPP CAI/Tune - only one NON-ADJUSTABLE tune...if you get bigger tires, change gears, get an offroad pipe then you cant make any of these adjustments which will need to be done. Have a diablo or SCT will allow for this. You also only get 15-17 HP from the CAI/tune where you will get 25-30 with a combo from Brenspeed or B amachips. The FRPP tune is fairly conservative.

FRPP Suspension - Mnay people here have said it isnt bad. I have the springs. But I you really need adjustable panhard, and LCAs if you lower your car and non of this is in the pack. The Tockico Dspecs are the best shocks and stut package around i think. You can get them for 507 from hotpart. They are adjustable also so you can make the ride how you want it. The fron sway isnt that bad but the rear is not the best so I would just replace that. For brands I use BMR and so do many, CHE and Spohn arent bad either You can get all of this for less that Ford charges for their package also. For more reading you can go here. https://mustangforums.com/m_1696246/tm.htm

For some I suppose the packs will do the job but most people will tell you to go aftermarket even if it costs more there generally is a good reason for that....and stay away from RPMOUTLET and trying to save some cash...you will spend more in the end.

The FRPP tune is so conservative in fact that at least one of the Shelby GT (comes with the FRPP CAI and tune) owners on the forum has already swapped out for a Brenspeed setup.
