Hi ther e.
Can anybody with a '05 shop manual,look up how to remove the
headlight/fog light switch assembly ?
It looks like it will pop out,but I don't want scratch anything
trying to pry it out .
Thanks !

Why ? You might be asking ? I would like to see if it's possible
to have the fog lights on, without having the parking lights
on as well.

Quite right, it just pulls straight out. As I recall the clips are on the sides. I think I had to get under the dash and push it out from the back side to get it out. You're going to need a wiring diagram though, looking at the back of the switch isn't going to help you much. It's just a cluster of wires plugging into the back of the switch.

taking it apart.
I had assumed I would have to push from inside the dash.

I've done a pony package upgrade to my '05 V6 Vert which included the installation of a new light switch. You will want to gently push from the rear under the dash while rocking it back and forth to get the switch out. It was very easy. As far as fog lights only...mods to the wiring within the switch will not work; however, if you were to use aftermarket switching modules and design/wire it to cutout power to all other lights when the fogs are selected you could get it to work.

My fogs are on when my key is in the "RUN" position. I added a relay and some simple wiring changes to do it.
