well i have gears 757gt i have the 3.73 gears with c&l air intake plus sct xcal tune and tci converter 3000 stall.....and i have the Billy boat catback exhaust not full. what do charge motion plates and pullies do and can they be installed ontop of the mods i have or will i have to remove something....i was informed my mods soo far are pretty good. your feedback would be grately appriciated.
You said you had gears, sorry about that. Pullies free up power because there is less rotation with the undrive pullies. The charge motion plates go under the intake manifold. The stock plates have flaps that start to close after 80 which limits your top end. With those 2 mods you should pick up about 20 whp as long as you have the car tuned. You don't need to remove anything other than the stock pullies and the stock plates.

wait don't the flaps OPEN at higher RPM? They are supposed to stay closed at lower rpm not to limit air flow but increase flow velocity giving more low-end torque

They start to close around 80, notice most '05s trap really low stock. It is an emissions thing I guess. They start closed and gradually open and then they start to close again around 80.

About 270-275 whp, flywheel around 345. 0-60 supposing you can hook up would be in the 4.5 second range I would guess. The numbers he is quoting are Motortrends 0-60 with an auto. They typically dyno about 15 less whp not 30.
When I first had my GT dyno'd the rwhp was 238hp. After the C&L and C&L tune the rwhp was 279hp w/13.4 A/F. How in the world do I get closer to the 300 rwhp mark with my current mods?
Thread On 2006 Auto GT Dynoing 238 HP Stock

Most of the dyno's that I've seen from manual GT's come in at 270-280 RWHP, mine was 272. And there is NO way an automatic GT with an Intake can outrun a stock 2005 GTO with the 6.0 Liter LS2 that runs a 0-60 stock in 4.9 seconds. I can't outrun my buddies GTO and I have intake, tune, pulleys and exhaust. It's close but just can't catch him.

I want to know if your ford dealership is still giving you your warranty? Last week I asked the service manager about the 4:10

gears and he said no. That ford was way to touchy now with the warranty. I did get my shaker radio ordered again.

Mine put down 250 whp stock on a dyno jet. Most manuals put down 260ish, for some reason the '06s seem to dyno a tid bit higher. Who said a GT with an intake could take a GTO? This guy is getting 3.73s, cat back, intake, tune and a stall. He will easily be able to run at least what I am running. Also your mag times are not everything. I could take my buddies stock M6 GTO from a stop fine with my mods. I can't beat him now but he is no longer stock. Also LS motors have more on the top. My buddies high 12 sec LS1 camaro only ran 8.7 in the 1/8 to my 8.6 but in the 1/4 he had way more top end.

Anyways this guy claims he picked up 41 whp with an intake and a tune. That is BS considering NOBODY has had gains like that. Also 13.4 air to fuel is rediculous, that is not good for the car. My air to fuel is low 12s.

I have to agree, something had to be wrong the day he did it stock. No way intake and tune will give 40hp.
