Found a carseat that fits great. Used the latch anchors to secure it. Sucks that we need to use the 5point harness but at this point i see no choice.

It is a Costco Highback booster model 22209

I used a similar thing. I just bought a chair cushion that you would use on a wooden kitchen chair and it fits welll into the seat. Lifts the booster out and protects the leather all at once.
