Cool Anyone adding racing stripes to their 2010?

I'm considering white vinyl stripes but can't decide on the size. The Shelby stripes are 10" and look good on that vehicle. However, I'd like to see 12" stripes before being the guinea pig. Here are some 10" vinyl stripes on a GT - the black may be misleading but they look a tad too thin in my opinion. 12" may put the stripe too close to the edge of the "Power Dome" on the hood, as well as the rear tail lights.

I have a Torch Red 2010 that I am planning on putting the Ford "super snake" decal
on in white whenever it comes in. Ford has been slow in getting some of the parts out
for aftermarket. I have been waiting on the stripe for about 6 weeks.

Here's a Stripe Painter site for the 2010 Mustang. Gives you a pretty good idea of how things will look.

Here are some more stripes. These also appear to be 10" wide.

That is a cool tool. I really like the way the gold and red stripes look on black.

Another wonderful "technical" thread by the 2010 guys. Com'on guys. This belong in the "appearnce forum" not the TECH forum.

If you're not talking about the ENGINE, SUSPENSION, Or other MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL systems in the car, find the appropriate forum to post in, racing stripes do not fit any of those categories. There are also sub forums for Suspension and such.

I actually measured the width of the stripes from the leading hood edge of a GT500KR in my dealer's showroom. I had mine made from that.

They are 10+3/4 in wide, with a 1+1/8 in gap between them.

I had to shave 1/8 in off the width *just* to make sure it fit without wrapping down the sides of the hood scoop. (final: 10+5/8 wide x 1+1/8 gap).

Very cool. Have any photos from different angles that you could post?
