Thanks. I just put it on there for the pic, thought it would look cool. I collect license plates from the 40s through the 70s, its one I had lying around. (weird hobby, I know)

Hair dryer worked great. Used a little wax/polish to remove residue - thanks for the advice.

I don't know whether Goo Gone changed the formula and/or the label. My bottle does not warn against using it on painted surfaces. It says not to use it on silk, leather, suede or rubber. So keep it off of my blue suede shoes!

Yeah I was glad I had the hindsight to tell the dealer several times that I wanted no stickers on my Stang once she arrived, unless they were going to send me a check monthly for the free advertising .

I am sure they will remove it if you ask them.
