Default Pics - Added Xenon Side Scoops and Woodgrain Interior

Here are a few pics of my recent additions:

First are of the woodgrain interior kit I put in. The kit came with MANY more pieces but I thought that if I put them ALL in it would look like overkill. I think the wood looks pretty good.

Second are the Xenon Side Scoops I've been waiting a month for. Finally got them on.

Let me know what you think!

Looks good - I think you should continue the wood grain look on the remaining console (compartment). I'm still considering the side scoops myself. My wife thinks I should get them. What did you decide about the stripe on the hood scoop?

Thanks. You know, it didn't come with a piece for the compartment. It did come with many more though. Ones that cover up all of the aluminum pieces on the dash. It would look like severe overkill if I did that. I like the look of the contrast between the wood and the aluminum.

I am going to stripe the hood scoop but am waiting on the vinyl shop to finish up some big jobs they have before I can get in there.

Go for it on the side scoops. I was "iffy" on them for a while but really like them now that they're on.

Looks good, not for me, but good install job with the woodgrain.

Thanks. I had a few buddies tell me something similar. "Looks great, but it's a Mustang, not a Lexus"

I had woodgrain in my Volvo and really liked it so figured I'd give it a shot in the Stang.

My dad used to do this all the time with his cars, and it always looked good. Not my cup of tea, but def. looks good!

How is your GPS attached? Almost looks like it's suction cup'd to the 12v outlet.

Yep, that's how it's connected. I ran the power and video wires (for the backup camera) behind the dash and have about an inch of them sticking out there, just enought to plug in. I don't use that 12v outlet at all so decided to mount it there.

I actually like those side scoops better than the OEM style
