I didn't trust having it shipped painted, and wanted to make sure it matched. I originally had a quote for $650 that included removing old and reinstalling new with paint. They want to see the fascia in person before they commit to a quote. depending on the price I may just remove the old one and reinstall the new one myself and save some $. I got the fascia for $480 shipped w/ fogs. Pricewise, it will probably come out the same, with the peace of mind that it matches and didn't get damaged in shipping.

The scoop is bigger than the GT one. The scoop is the same size as the raised dome part of the hood? I dont know, I like it. lol I saw a pic of a GT on the cover of 5.0 mustangs and superfords with it.

Roush will charge you about $300 to have it painted. You can find a good shop to do it for about half that. I have order some roush painted parts and unpainted, honestly the Roush paint is nicer and no problems in shipping ever, but sometimes its just not worth it.

I found the Roush painted parts to be top-notch in quality and they shipped it very well so no issues with paint being scratched.

Did you also order the front-splitter as well??

Yes Roush paint is definitely top notch, probably the best I have seen honestly. No problems in shipping ever either. You definitely need that front splitter if you did already by it BTW. If for nothing else it will help prevent the fascia for getting scrapped

On the one with no foglights...are there holes in the fascia?

I am not sure. I ordered mine with fogs.

I have dealt with my bodyshop before, its a collision bodyshop, and their work is top notch and guaranteed. They actually do work for the local Ford dealer, painting stripes and body kits.

It has the fog-light holes but is supposed to come with these black plastic plugs that go in the fog-light holes

I've watched a program on speed channel that had a tour go through the roush facility. They had robots painting all of the parts. Maybe thats why roush painted parts match so good. I'm not saying that a human can't match as good.
