Default Easy to remove Decklid panel from GT?

I ordered the Appearance package for my new GT that has the hood scoop, side scoops, window louvers, raised spoiler and decklid panel.

I want to get stripes put on the car when I get it, but I want them to go straight down the center of the car in the back. The decklid panel would get in the way of that.

Is ti easy to remove? Is it just a snap on part or does it replace the decklid?

I'm going to have the stripes painted on by a professional, so it shouldn't be that hard for him to just remove the panel right?

Right. It is held on by 3M tape. You will need to buy a new "dinner plate" (GT emblem) as I believe the one "on" the decklid add-on is actually part of the add-on.

Thanks.

So I'll just have to tell him we need a new GT emblem? We could grab one of them from the dealer right?

Well, the car was ordered a few weeks ago, so it won't be in for a while.

If you still want it when it comes in, I don't see a reason not to sell it to you. I won't be needing it.

This was exactly why I got only the hood scoop and the rear spoiler. If I am really missing the side scoops I'll get them put on later. Congrats on your ride!

I wish I would have seen this a month ago. I took my deck lid off right when I purchased it and it was a pain in the butt. I purchased two gas faux caps, the v6 version and the GT version, I would have sold you the GT one but it looks like you already sold it.
