Hey Guys I got a 2010 Shelby GT500 Spolier with the gurney Flap for $146.00 Shipped I was thrilled! From what I have seen and thought it was a good deal! It is painted Kona Blue, and perfect never mounted anyway what can I expect to see from a body shop to take this spolier from konda blue to grabber blue? As far as prices? Is it worth it to take it to a Ford Body shop?

It will cost you a pretty penny. You should have order the ones on ebay that are pre-painted the same color as your vehicle. I would only trust the dealership to paint the spoiler because the have the exact paint in stock. I have the same wing installed on my car also. Took one day to get everything painted, baked and installed.

Any body shop should be able to match it. I'd guess they will charge you about $150 - $200 to paint it.

Does the GT500 spoiler look good on an otherwise stock GT?

It does in my (biased) opinion. I'll post a pic today if I get the chance.

It will be extra since the spoiler already has paint on it. I would say around 200 at least since they have to strip the kona blue off.

Forgot to mention my dealer painted mine for $100. I did buy it from them, though.

i was watching that spoiler on Ebay. That would have been an AWESOME deal for someone with a Kona Blue stang for sure!!!

I agree, your prob looking at $200 at a reputable bodyshop to paint it.

hey guys yea i was pretty fixated on getting this spolier since I saw that the replica ones dont have the gurney flap or anything and they are listed $299! Do you guys think I made a bad deal and Weinerdog I would really appreciate pics if you could find them! Thanks man I'll def post pics before and after once I get install done!
