It's amazing how difficult the engineers can make some stuff. I saw a video posted on another thread here where they installed the CDC spoiler on a GT and getting that bottom part off looked like they were going to break the bumper cover. It doesn't seem all that bad on the previous body. First thing I did when I got my car was to add a wire mesh behind the lower grill openings. The '09 V6 has way too big an opening down there and I didn't want any rocks or road debris taking out my condenser or radiator going at 80MPH, which Is what I usually drive (shssss, don't tell anybody!).

Sorry to ramble, but just pumped. When I post pics, I'll post a few of the suede A Pillars and headliner I removed; covered and re-installed last weekend. Turned out better than I could have imagined! Black suede is great looking against the saddle leather! Found the DIY here as a matter of fact!
The suede sounds awesome. Unfortunately, since I havea convertible, I can't really do something like that in mine.

I promise I'll get pics posted asap. We got a freak snow storm as soon as I finished and the stang has been snow covered! However, I can already say the paint and clear coat has already done wonders from a dirt standpoint. It's almost like teflon!

I'm going to get my wife to take pictures of the suede with her camera. I've tried to take pics with my blackberry and with the dark interior, no good!

Thanks for the info on the outside ambient temp sensor. I can't believe how much I've learned from you guys! I really appreciate your help whether you know it or not!

Yeah, we got that freak snowstorm too. I'm in the Washington DC area and we got about three feet (maybe 2 and a half) and we are supposed to get another foot and a half tomorrow. That's not normal for this area so people are screwed! I'm looking forward to seeing those pics too!

Yea, and earlier this year they were saying that due to global warming there wouldn't be any snow in DC this year. What a load of crapola! The entire Federal Government was shut down today due to the snow fall. Didn't you notice the difference? It was so much nicer without all those wackos talking down to us. I don't even watch TV any more, but I'll bet it was a quiet news day.

Yep, and we're off tomorrow too with another storm rolling in, and will probably be off on Wednesday as well.
