Wilki, you got pics of that shorty antenna? I would love to see it from different angles to see if I like it.

I will try and get some up this weekend at the latest. Car goes in tomorrow for the suspension parts to be added (Steeda Sport springs, GT500 Strut mounts and Koni StrT Shocks and struts). If I can get Saturday off I am going to try and get the whole Roush nose on it and the side splitters. After that...it's get the GT500 rear valance painted to my vision and the visual mods are done..minus the wheels.

I did the same thing 4literv6 did with my antenna. Just cut it down to 5 inch and its looks 100% better. 4liter has some pics in his album i believe.

That the exact same thing I want on my stang. I saw a 05-09 roush with the same bumper and said, "That shall be mine, oh yes, it shall be"

So you guys just literally chopped off the top of the antenna? How exactly did you do it? Did you sand down the top afterward? Is it smooth now?

I just used a good set of dikes...after i clipped off the top portion i could see a little bit of white so i just took a black marker and colored it in....It looks 100% stock(other than being shorter). There was no change in reception.

I used a dremel with a cut off disc. And I used a Sharpie, too! It still looks good but I'll probably put a dab of paint on it.
