The Shaker looks really good, no doubt. But something about having my hood cut into just turns me off to it. I dunno... I'm a worry-about-stupid-crap kind of guy, and all the important stuff is under that hood you're cutting into.

Yea I feel your pain, It was rough drilling 10 big holes in my trunk and down the sides for my roush spoiler, but everything went fine and it was defintely worth it, I feel the same would happen with the shaker, scary but worth it.

So are you gunna do it? I'd be interested in pics.
You never worry about water? I know there are good sealants out there, but nothing is getting through solid steel.

On another note, where in NJ are you?

Well they havent come out with a shaker for the V6 yet, but I have been emailing them weekly for updates and hopefully within the next month it will be out and I will defintely be getting it. I use POR15 on the holes and the spoiler also had 3M tape in addition to bolts kinda acting as a weather shield, so no way water is getting in there or doing any damage. Im in Toms River NJ

So where does the rainwater/melting snow go around the shaker? Just drizzles down the engine?

Toms River is a little south of my old stomping grounds. Grew up in Monmouth County. My dad lived in TF before the base closed.

Not really sure what happens, I guess it drips down onto the shaker engine cover and then off that, but these have been around for awhile now so im sure they make it work somehow.
