I painted my calipers red when I had my sonic blue lightning. It was a small pop of color against the blue. I'm going to do mine red whenever i get around to it.

Those pics are pre-valence. The GT-500 one hangs down a little lower on the sides, and is more squared off.

I say silver, kona blue, or black. Red is overdone IMO, and it would draw too much attention. Not a big fan of yellow either.
