Default How Much To Paint Back Panel?

How much would it be to paint the back panel? I see the magnetics and other blackouts but they never seem to fit snuggly.

I'll probably just get a shop to vinyl it, but does anyone know approximately how much it would cost?

Probably $150 - $300.

Well, that's Ford's panel, so it fits fine. I don't like the.. for lack of better words, grooves, on the panel, so I was thinking of going aftermarket (they don't fit too well). I want a flat black back panel.

However, for the V6's MCA "edition," the black back panels are smooth and, more importantly, fit exactly the way it should (like yours). I wonder if there is any way to get just that (Ford OEM) and not the rest of the things that comes with it.

A smooth panel doesn't exist, but we're shaving off my fake gas cap mound soon.

This is from the 2009 LA Auto Show. The car is equipped with the Mustang Club of America package.

The V6 Motor Trend tested is also a MCA edition. You can tell by the ugly hockey stick stripe on the side and the wheels.

I don't mind the faux gas cap, but I do want the OEM flat black panel.
