I think they will look pretty mean. You can have the "raised" part of the spokes painted black also....That might look real good.

So i updated another thread and forgot to do this one. I found out a few days back the rears wer a 30 offset and woudl have stuck out of the fender well. I contacted the seller to tell him that these werent right for teh s197 and I didnt want them to stick out. He happened to have a set of the same wheels in a 41 offset and sent me return lables for eh two rears in 30 offset and has already amiled out the 41 offsets for me which shoudl work much better on the car.

i also got TIRED of waiting on teh NT05's. I called CC and they still had no ETA at all on the rears i had ordered after waiting for a month already. i opted to change to NT555's so I coudl get the wheels mounte dup next weekend. I'm putting 255/45-18 on the front and 285/40-18 on the rear. i wanted soemthing a bit wider on the rear, but nitto doesnt make much for teh s197 for some reason. Anyway, tires and 41 offset wheels will be here next week. I figure next sat i shoudl be mounted up. Now I just need to order up my steeda psort springs to go with my koni yellows and I'll be golden.

295/45 would be good with 255/45. That is what I was going to go with but ended up going with the gt500 knock offs on AM instead.... piddly little 275/40 and 245/45 lol. Ill get over it. I can also up to bigger width later though the sidewall would suffer since they are 19" and tire companies treat them like the plague

I have a the yellows and springs in the garage....ill let you have them for 1100 ))))))

Heres a great link for tire sizing

That's what I have on my AM Premium 5-spokes. I will probably go with 295/35's on the rear next time because I like a slightly lower sidewall but the width is fine. The 30mm offset on the front is perfect. I have 255/40's and it steers so much better than with 275's on the front.

The traction is greatly improved with the summer rubber, too. Twisties are fantastic!

Cool. I worked up the sizing and best I found was 295/30 and 255/35 were the exact same height on 19x8.5 and 19x10 wheels. Hancooks at Tire Rack are not a terrible price and i have always had luck with them. But I figure I will keep the Sumies on them for awhile since I wont put 10000 a year on the car.
