Would probably need to cut out a circle about 6" across and weld in a disc of sheet metal that matched the curve of the deck-lid, then grind down the weld flat and repaint. Would take a lot of skill to make it look good, but it would be a really unique mod if done right.

I took mine off and painted them also... waiting on my GT500 spoiler to arrive so before I take anymore pics. I def like the emblems blacked out... it matches the black chrome pony up front

yea my next appearance mod is the 3D Carbon 3D500 wing. Same as the GT500 but a little cheaper

man i really dig the badges man. i want to do that to mine since my stang is almost completely blacked out. so theres no holes on the side fender badges?? because i would like to remove the side badges and do what you did.

there are 2 holes in the fenders as well.
