Don't get one is my advice. They don't look too great on Mustangs to begin with and from experience with one of my other cars that I had a bra on, they are a HUGE pain in the ***.

Even if you remove it everytime you wash the car you'll still have a big, sandy dirt streak on your hood and it will scratch the hell out of your clear coat everytime you remove it and it does add up. Also if it's on for years the paint underneath won't match the rest of the car anymore as it won't oxidize with the rest of the car.

What Mook said is totally correct. I had one on a car years ago and it was the biggest mistake I ever made.

While I like the appearance of a car bra and while I've purchased many more black bras than most women, they are a pain-in-the-butt!

It takes as long to clean and dry the bra as the whole rest of the car.

The clear bra is the way to go. Put it onto the new vehicle, prior to leaving the showroom floor. Cover all leading edges: bumper; hood; headlights; fog lights; fender and mirrors. Cover other areas like door handle cups and behind the wheels.

I've seen pics of the entire car covered!

When I removed mine after 120K miles the paint underneath was new, but the rest of the hood was sandblasted. Same w/ the fenders. Also, the tiny exposed edges around the bra were sandblasted.
