Home made splitter and rods are cable covered with shrink tubing.

looks good but the splitter rods look real flimsy. Brings the look down. You need some thicker rods like the RTR mustang front.

looks like a 2011 CS lower front portion, painted body color. And making the flat splitter portion shouldn't be too difficult. I like the idea. I did the CDC chin spoiler and will be adding the RTR splitter and rods when they release them individually.

To the op that is really cool that you diy nice job
to excelsius man that is going to look nasty when you get the rtr pieces on along with your street scene center fog grille! I don't know what it is but for some reason I don't like foglights on mustangs unless they are close together in which case they look really bad*ss imo

Stainless steel cables support around 500lbs or so, covered with black shrink tube total over kill for the size and depth of the splitter.

The comment was geared more towards the LOOK of the cables. They look flimsy, therefore they look cheap, etc etc.

All in all the splitters looks REALLY good, but I do have to agree the cables need to be thicker for appearance sake.
