Is there a way to smooth it out? Make it a flat panel?

I like it that it deletes the faux cap. Other ways of deleting the faux gas cap are more expensive than I feel it's worth.

I also like the fact that it fills up the space between the tail lights.

I dont think it would look any good to do that. I wondered the same thing when I had one on my 06. Street Scene made a smooth one just like the CDC for the 05-09 cars. I emailed them today to see if they had plans to make a smooth one for the 10+ cars. I will post what I hear/read back.

moss mustangs makes a carbon fiber one.....if u want..u could paint it black lol
or spray it with some vht
