Default HIDs in non-HID headlights *pics*

I have a 2011 5.0 with pretty much every option available, except the HIDs and the glass roof, which I wish I had gotten. Either way, I have the standard headlights, because I thought the HID ones looked strange. They're just now growing on me, but thats too late. So I installed some 6000k dual beam HIDs in my headlights, and i think they came out pretty clean. I did this a while back, about 2 months ago, but I never put up any pics. Me, not put up pics, lol, imagine that.

Anyways, I think the factory head lamp is better on this style mustang SN10, than my last S197, as you can see the cut off is much sharper.

The car.

The wall in front of the car a few hours later.

I know it's not all "razor sharp cutoff" or anything like the actual HIDs, but it's pretty damn close I think.

Very nice. You do take some excellent photos. I'll bet from your forum name you're a professional photographer. Which side splitters and rear valance are you using on your car? Is that an OEM or aftermarket GT 500 rear spoiler?

You will be glad you dont have HIDs when it
comes to replacing a burned out bulb (they
last about as half as long as the traditional
gas/filiment bulbs) and cost way more.

You missed some dirt on your rocker panel.
Its the details that make a good photographer.....
Such a nice pic just to have your eyes drawn to
the dirt that clearly shows in that lighting scheme.

I think those look great. the cut-off in these headlights are really great so they isnt alot of stray light with the HID upgrade. looks great! My next mod for sure. just torn between 6000k and 4300k

Actually, the car was spotless until I drove up there. I hit a muddy puddle about 50 feet back around the corner. That's fresh construction mud, it actually glimmers. I had my camera on me and no buckets, water, rags, nothing. So, with ~10 min of light to spare, I snapped away.

looks good .... i got my 6000k hid kit within ten days of me actually having the car... and i love it! i just love have the beam good not as sharp as projectors but they light up the road much better than my 08 bmw 335! also i only paid $60 with a 2 years warranty instead of paying an arm and a leg for the oem ones
