Default Remove GT emblem from rear decklid?

I don't much care for the large plastic GT fake fuel filler emblem on the rear decklid.

What's the best way to remove this? Is it just held on by 3M tape, or are there holes in the decklid that I'd have to fill?

Not only are there holes there is bump there that would more than odd if left uncovered. So either some serious bodywork or a cover. I like the ribbed cover from CDC but the smooth cover from True Carbon is nice too. I prefer it body color or bare carbon over black but hey that's my opinion, you do what you like.

To give the OP an idea of the results after serious body work, and a Tribar Pony in its place:

Decklid

Cool, was it cut and welded then painted? What did that cost?

With the TruCarbon panel, you can still see the sides of the trunk lid. That's lazy on their part. It should cover that. I'd only get it if the car is black.

I noticed the same thing, plus it looks like it's not flush with the tail lights. But their GT500 rear spoiler looks really nice.
