The 5000k (what I got) is the closest to Pure White you'll find and looks much cleaner than the blue-ish tinted ones you'll see out there.
any night pics of your hids?

This is my HID setup!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z4WSxF-Ylv4

TOTAL Money Spent on my HID's?
Headlights are Bi Xenon h13- $88 shipped off eBay.
Foglights are single beam h10- $40 shipped off eBay.

Total Price for both sets: $128

I just looked for U.S. Sellers. Honestly I don't know how people spend $300 for a set of HID's that are probably the same quality as the ones I have.

I have had the headlights for about 2 years now, I had them on my 2006 V6 and I switched them to my 2010 GT, easy installation and I'm a complete noob when it comes to electrical stuff. The foglights have been on for 4 months with no problems, keep in mind my car is a daily driver and I go out at night alot.

so my kits came in, installed the headlights then went to install the fogs and ran into a problem. everything that ive read even in my ford manual said h11's. well they did not fit. the base that locks them in was too small...

Did you get the 35w or the 55w?

And I thought 6000k is supposed to be the whitest?

4300k is "pure" white but not much of difference from 5000k, 6000k is white with a hint of blue

4300k has a hint of yellow when put next to 5000k. 5000k is pure white. 6000k has a cool blue look.

Thanks. I wasn't sure whether 5000k or 6000k was pure white. Now I know to go with the 5000k.

FYI 5000k will look cool blue when you first turn them on. It takes 30-40 seconds for them to heat up and become fully white.
