Is it wrong to put a Boss C-Stripe on my 2010 V6 Mustang?

I really like the look of it and I am considering purchasing it, but a lot of my peers say I shouldn't because my car isn't actually a Boss.

Please note that I am going to get a dual exhaust system (my car will not look like a V6).

And all those "Boss" mustangs you've seen for the last 30+ years aren't *really* Bosses either.

Ford is just now reintroducing a *real* boss for the first time in almost 4 decades.

If you like the stripe, get it. Or, perhaps get the exact same C-stripe without the "Boss" lettering. You can get them blank, or get them with any lettering you want... "Stang" "Surf's Up" whatever. LOL

I absolutely love your car. Everything about it. Does anyone give you **** for having a V6 that has a Boss decal? And also do you mind telling me where you got the decklid panel? I don't know if my car would even look good with a decklid panel (because I have a super snake stripe) but it would be nice to know.

Where can I get it blank? The website gives you the option to customize what is written under the BOSS lettering, but the BOSS lettering stay how it is.

theACE, what exhaust system do you have? Or do the 2011 v6 mustangs come with a dual exhaust system?

It has dual exhaust stock, now.

If you look around (Search "Reverse C stripe" on Google) You will find quite a few places that have them. You might even find some slightly different styles that you might like.
