Question Those with new Rims & Tires (TPMS?)

We as some of you might have read, I've ordered new tires and rims for my wifes 2011 Mustang GT. I ordered staggered Foose Legends (Chrome) 8.5x20's up front and 10x20's on the rear. Tires are Nitto's NT555, with 245/40/20's up front and 275/35/20's on the rear. Also ordered with the ford racing TPMS installed.
My question is- What tire preasure are you running? The nitto website shows the tire spec's at 50psi. I've never ran any tires like these as I drive a raised up superduty with 37" tires. I know I'll have to get the TPMS recalibrated to the car, but will the also correct the preasure too? Or are you running around the same psi as the car came? I would think 50 psi would be too much, but with them being such a small sidewall maybe that's what they are supposed to be!
I bought them at one of ous sponcers, Cruzin Concepts. Just for your info, David, My sales person was the best! He really was helpfull when time to order and answered all my questions execpt the tire preasure. And at least he was hounest and told me he wasn't sure. The only small grip is that, they are taking over 2 weeks to get. But they did have to order the tires. So any help or experence would be great!

Thanks,

50psi is the max the tire can hold before it could possibly go BOOM from to much...not what you should run them at. I run my tires at 32psi

Cool! Was hoping that was the case. Does the ride suffer much with the smaller sidewall? Right now stock tires are 245/50/18's so it will have a smaller sidewall.

i just got my new wheels and tires on monday. i went from the 235/50/18 to 245/45/19 and 275/40/19 and I dont think it feels any worse it depends on the tire..my last car it had 255/45/18 stock Bridgestone RE050 and I put 255/35/20 and they actually were smoother and less bouncy then factory ones...they were nitto 555

Great to hear. Just wish mine would come in this week so I could get them on for the weekend. But still haven't heard anything yet as to a tracking # After spending that much and wainting 2 weeks, almost can't stand it anymore.
