Default Ideas for painting stock wheels?

Hey everyone I'm thinking of possibly painting my stock wheels. I have a silver 2010 V6 Stang with the stock 17's.

How do you think I should paint them? Any and all opinions welcomed?

I was thinking black, or maybe painting the indents between each spoke black and leaving the rest stock color.

Any other ideas for a silver stang? And if possible can someone photoshop my idea above? I'm not too good with photoshop at all lol...or if you can show me any other idea's you may have? Thanks guys.

Has your paint job held up well? any chipping or flaking?
I'm thinking about doing this on my 2010 sterling grey with a gunmetal color.

so far I've found 2 tiny little specks where the paints chipped less than a mm wide, just touched it up with a dot of black paint. holding up remarkably well considering I didn't prime and it's been through an ohio winter

How difficult was it painting between the spokes?

between spokes is not an issue seeing as its spray paint, just angle it to paint where ever needed

Wow your wheels look great. What a difference paint does to stock wheels. Thank you for the DIY guide. I'm not sure if I just want to spray them since eventually the paint will come off though. But maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea since you have harsher weather to deal with and you said you only saw 2 chip marks. How long did it take you to paint these? I like that white paint you did on the tires as well, very old school.

Wow those look really good, thanks for the DIY.

How long did it take you to paint these? I really like the look of your tires as well with the white lettering, very old school.

^ depends on what your working with, i only had 2 jack stands so i could only do 2 wheels at a time, took a whole day and thats mostly cuz of waiting for the paint to dry between coats, 3 coats color 3 coats clear.
