Shouldn't we put that film on our whole car?...
I know it's silly, but man what a protection!

Might be a little more expensive. :-). You can have it put on wherever you like. Might be kinda nice to have on the lower door and fender panels.

The stuff is just about bullet proof. The installer had samples; on sheet metal and off. It was amazing how it reacted to the abuse he put it through.

I knew that if I had waited a couple of years, it wasn't going to do me much good to protect a pitted out front.

Hmm, my Xpel clear bra has a smoother texture, and is warranty covered from peeling, yellowing, tearing, anything really, for 7 years. And it was $600 installed.

Problem is, not available everywhere. 3M has better name recognition, but I saw a car in the shop when deciding between the two. Not pretty after 3 years.

I saw on the Xpel web site that there is 3 quality for their protective films. The premium, the standard and the value. At 600$ wich one did you get installed?

The guy I used for my cars only installs Xpel premium...looks great and had it on my 06 GT for 5 yrs now...and I did really ask him about covering my whole Shelby with it...he said would be $2500-3000 but who knows how well it would look...would be a difficult install in a lot of areas...
