New to the forums and looking for a little help. I have a 2011 GT which has been lowered with the Eibach sportline kit. We didnt measure the exact drop when the kit was installed but its rated at 1.3 in the front and 2.0 in the rear.

I have been looking at the black bullitt wheels on Americanmuscle.com and have decided they would look great on my grabber blue pony. My question is with that much of a drop will 20" wheels have enough clearance or will i need to go with a 19" wheel?

I previously owned a 2006 GT that i put the same lowering kit on with 20" wheels and that was fine, though it seems from looking at it that the 2011 is alot tighter fit, though it could be my eyes fooling me. Any advice, input, or suggestions would be greatly appreciate.

thank you!
You're fine with 20" wheels, as long as you go with a reasonable drop. An Eibach Pro Kit, for example, is going to go about 1.5" and that's still okay, even with 20" wheels/tires. We use the Eibach Pro Kit on all of our Project Mustangs and if you're good about making sure to select the right tire size, you'll be in good shape.

The recommended tire sizes listed on our site on the wheel product page, or any of our 20" wheel/tire kits will fit just fine.

If you want to be 100% sure, just give our Mustang experts a shout during business hours or shoot me over a PM and I'll help you out!

Hope this helps...

Chris
