I had thought about using a carbon fiber vinyl rather than gloss black but I wanted something that had the look of being real and carbon fiber vinyl tends to be duller that real carbon fiber roofs like the E92 M3 and the C7 Corvette.
Overall, I'm happy with how it turned out.

Took my Stang to my son's High School auto shop class yesterday... steel wooled the exhaust..undercoated some spots and then tweaked the aero additions. Even paint matched a roof spoiler. Then swapped the Chambered Magnaflow Streets for the Competition Magnapack straight through glasspacks and..
Boom...
Side/rocker/rear splitters are now on.
added a roof spoiler (because I liked the look) and its aerodynamically functional
overall my son and his classmates in his automotive class agree the car looks like its moving even when standing still. ;-)
F14's Summer Wheels go back on later in the month. My son's classmates seem to think adding a red wheel band and a single red pinstripe all along the bottom lip of the splitters going all around the car would be a nice touch... With a hat tip to a a european look and not too over the top. I'm on the fence about it...but at least it would be something I can remove if Its an eyesore.
And then finally parked and Slammed....for emphasis
Next visual tweak will be the black chromed running Glow-Pony...then
Me thinks ...... this will be a nice hand me down to my oldest son when I get the latest S550 .... just as soon as the VooDoo variant is released.
PS... Any opinions on the red stripe... Appreciated... Also looking for a ghosted effect of Lemans stripes down the center GT500 style.... Contemplating a Matt White over the existing gloss white body. opinions appreciated.
