Default Black or painted 1/4 louvers?

Trying to make a decision, figured i would ask you good folks for some input.

Putting together an exterior parts list to be ordered this week, and its as follows for a 2011 Grabber Blue GT:

-CS style front valance w/ fog lights
-Retro style black front grill, pony on drivers side
-Powered by Ford emblems to replace 5.0 emblems
-Matte Black Tailight trim
-Deck Lid Blackout panel
-Black Hood spears

what i am undecided on is the 1/4 window louvers, should i get a set of pre-painted ones or go with black? I kinda think the blue would be too much extra blue, but like i said, completely undecided.

Only thing appearance wise done to the car thus far is a sportline lowering kit, and a set of Black Bullit style wheels, 20"

*reposted here as i previously posted in wrong forum* Fail, i know

I would say go with grabber.
When I see a car with black louvers I just think that they were too cheap to get them painted. Some pieces look good black, like some spoilers, but louvers are not one of them, IMO.

can you post a pic of your car? black louvers would only look good if there was more black somewhere else, but you mean painted black right?

i have white lovers i have yet to install on mine

I like the black contrast on the GB, but only if you're getting black wheels too and maybe vinyling the roof if you don't have glass roof

Paint blue.

If you have tinted windows, black wheels, and maybe black GT emblems, that's plenty of contrast for the side IMO.

Get em blue. Otherwise it reminds me of the guy driving the beater with a different color door than the rest of the body.

I'd go with body color. To me black looks unfinished... kinda like you just stuck them on there to see what they look like but plan to paint them later.

Go with your bodycolor for the louvers.

The only time (imho) that black louvers on a non-black car looks good - is on a white or silver car that is doing a black-out theme. Other colors doing black-outs just seems to look 'unfinished' to my eye. :/

GL!
