Hurst shifter
The hurst short-throw is my shifer of choice cause of it's old school longer chrome stick and classic white ****. I've owned a few, the last one I installed myself in my 02 Jeep wrangler which I bought new. In my Wrangler there was a little gear noise even though I installed the rubber isolaters - I think it has metal bushings. I read somewhere in a review that this minor gear noise is still there in the Hurst for the new Mustang. Other than that, they feel great in your hand and make for some pretty clean shifting. I installed some hurst fender badges on the Jeep. I had great fun with those, as people used to say "look at that, I never knew jeep had a hurst edition". Nice Car, you can never go wrong with White. Have fun with your new shifter, whichever one you decide to install. Regards, Tim

I sure looks good and the throw is short and positive.
The only issue I had is with the reverse lock out feature. There is none.
Its spring loaded, so you just move the shifter hard left and up. They say its adjustable but I either got it too tight or too loose. I even put it in reverse several times at a busy intersection at a stop light...dangerous situation.
I removed it and reinstalled the stock shifter. Much better.

I would not recommend the Hurst Billet Plus shifter.
