Default Need help on a a.m.scoop.Are they the same?

recieved a american muscle scoop today for my kona 2011 and i,m wondering if its exactley the same as the ford oem scoop,this one appears to have a blocked front with a bonded on grill piece.my question is:is the ford wide/low oem scoop blocked off the same way?or is it open?This looks kida cheasy?jmho i dunno.

Its the same thing as OEM. Ford's hood scoop also has that honeycomb plastic piece blocking off the front. If you don't like it, I believe it may be removed.

front doesnt come out on a a.muscl.scoop,cheasy looking in my opinion.matches the side scoops though.

Yes, the Ford scoop is blocked but it sits back some so it is not real noticeable. If you remove that front section, the air pressure can build when driving and remove the scoop at speed.
