It is definitely personal preference. Our top selling size for the Mustang is 20" but their are plenty of owners who opt for 19" as well. The primary issue with the 19" sizing are the available tire options when you get into the wider sizes, such as 19x11. The 20" wheels offer a much larger range of tires to choose from.

It is lowered on the Eibach Pro-Kit (1" to 1.5"). We have the offsets needed to run a 20" setup with this drop and a 315 tire with no rubbing.

We also have the Eibach Pro-Kit's in-stock for most Mustang Models.

Don't mean to hi-hack this thread but I will.

I'm in the market for new tires and I want a higher profile sidewall. Currently I'm running 285/30/20 on the rear. Will a 275/40/20 work on the rear? I'm lowered about 1.5" on steeda springs. Thanks!!

i went with 20's for the reason of tire choices, i didnt see being much differance in the performance of 1", but the prices on tires for 20" were much cheaper and easier to find than on 19"

the stang with the 20" - man, I find it hard to believe that the eibach pro kit dropped it that much. I have 20s, with 285/30 rear tires and I easily have 3" gap in the rear and 2"+ in front. doesn't seem like a 1" f 1.5"r drop would close the gap that much.

are you sure? I was thinking I'd need coilovers to achieve that look.

lol. thanks. I was planning on going with an entry level coilover but now I think I will go with sportlines, struts and shocks, steeda mount etc.
