Got some stuff painted on my 5.0

Got my CS fascia, rear, and skirts painted to match this week. I like how it came out. Reminds me of my old Mustang, and in my opinion, should be the way these cars come from the factory. Naturally, some will not agree, but I think Ford figured it out too after seeing the 2013s.

Here's a few pics for ya:

Looks awesome. But for me, I would be to worried about scratching the sides and rear. Mine already have scuffs in them from wear and tear and I would go crazy if I noticed the scuffs and scratches in my paint, so for me I will stick with the stock un-painted plastic.

it looks good! much better than unpainted.

I want to paint them as well, but I prefer to keep a two tone look. I am going to go with a very dark grey color, and paint match my rear decklid panel, and have my cowl stripes paint matched.

Welcome to the body matched paint club! I can't wait to switch my front to the GT and gt/cs valance and paint it too match also. I already have my rockers and rear valance painted.

Fog surrounds should've stayed black, but that looks really good.

I like it, I like it a lot.
Very sleek.

Good job. :)

That looks really good! I hope it holds up good though, I was under mine yesterday putting in the jack and couldn't help but notice how scratched up my rocker panel is.

I'm sure there will be some scuffs underneath as time goes on. I had some on my old Mustang too. As long as they stay underneath I'm not worried. If anything starts looking ragged I'll have it painted again. The guy also gave me a two year warranty.

My other Mustang, and I ran her hard for 8 years, only had a few rock chips and those were made of plastic also. Hell, this whole damned car is made of plastic--lol. Anyway, I'm not worried and will drive this car just like I always do. I'm confident it will hold up just fine.
