Removing Decklid Blk out panel ?

Hey guys - just got my car and I'm removing all of the super cool dealer decals and LP frames. As I was removing the dealer decals on the back I noticed the black out panel looks like a decal. Can I peel that off? looking at my car I think I would like Sterling grey across the back opposed to the blk.

Any advice or tips?

I'd get you a set of black rims and rip that blackout panel off and get yourself the CDC or MMD panel .I am not sure how your current panel would come off or how it is attached but it is just a decal.

My original blackout panel was a matte paint. I damaged it removin my dealer emblem and went took it all off. Took aircraft decal remover spray and it basically melted it away

Thanks

Thanks for the feedback. I have compulsion issues so I didn't wait. Mine looked like a sticker and it peeled off like a sticker! No damage to anything. This is what I imagined it would look like. If I get the itch in the future I'll pick up something after market.

Thats odd, I didn't realize some came with blackout decklid panels (or decals, that's odd), I was about to ask if it was magnetic (Is your car new or used?). Was thinking if it was used, maybe previous owner had one of those magnetic decklids from AM or something.

I ordered the MCA package and had the side stripes removed. I think the back decklid blk out decal was just part of the package. Definetly a decal though - peeled right off - no magnet.
