Default Installed Pioneer Avic-D3 Double Din Head Unit with Metra Dash Kit & Boyo Backup Cam

For those who want to see how it looks like

This is exactly what I ordered

All the music videos and movies are ran off my 160gb ipod via Apple Ipod RCA cable. (I prefer it this way)

I have the Ipod charging in the center console storage 12v and the wires are ran under the center console.

The Ipod mount is from ProClipUSA.com and I'm using double sided 3m tape so I can stick it anywhere I want instead of the bracket ProClip provides of where they think is the best for you.

They want you to mount it on top of the vents

Or next to the shifter

I'm currently having trouble with the GPS not connecting to satellites and I ordered another GPS Antennae hoping that would fix the problem.

what wire did you tap into on the parking break switch? im currently trying to install a pioneer p2400bt and it has a light green wire with a connector on the end and the manual says to connect it to the parking brake switch positive(+)

You mean the bypass ground? I just grounded it into one of the screw holes.

I dont think so.. The pioneer instructions say- "used to detect the ON/OFF status of the parking break. this lead must be connected to the power supply side of the parking break switch"...? in my console there are two wires coming from the parking break switch, i just dont know witch is power. do you think if i pick one and it doesnt work then just use the other one?

The parking brake wire is so you can only play video while in PARK. It's a safety feature. There's a certain pin you need to relocate that wire to then ground, but I don't remember.

WesleyEng - do I see a radar detector and dash cam hanging from your mirror? How did you hook them to power?
