Super Snake or 47A "Over-the-Top" stripes for 2013
Hello everyone,
Test drove a 2013 Mustang over the weekend and it looks like we'll be ordering one in 'Red Candy Metallic' or 'Deep Impact Blue'. Either way we plan to add stripes, likely going with white stripes on blue or black stripes on red.
Really like the looks of 'Super Snake' stripes:
But worry about the quality of finish having them installed aftermarket (vinyl or paint). That said, does anyone know where it might be possible to find vinyl 'do-it-yourself' Super Snake stripes for the 2013? If not, how about for the 2012 (more than likely the same guys will end up doing them for the 2013s, maybe sooner with some gentle nudging
).
The other option is to go with stripes that are factory-applied. Does anyone possibly have pictures that show what the 47A "Over-the-Top" stripe(s) looks like on 2012s or 2013s? More importantly though, does the stripe extend 'down' the front bumper or does it stop at the end (or short of) the hood? Definitely want it to go all the way 'down' the bumper like they do on Super Snakes.

Omg that red gt500 is officially the APPEARANCE BENCHMARK for my car. I have to get that hood and the front spoiler. Just awesome.
I found this thread by searching for 12-13 GT's with the super snake hood on. Can't seem to find any pics of what it looks like on just a GT, not a Shelby. Can anyone help me?

I agree. I think the red/black combo and stripe are what do it for me more. Love the SS stripe.
