I really WANT to like these, but they look a little too euro for my taste. they do clean up the rear tremendously, but I think I'm going to hold out for a 2013 style aftermarket or do the 2013 tails and bumper.

Although you reuse the same bulbs and sockets in the new taillight, my personal opinion was they are not as bright. Probably because the light is spread more horizontally and low, so lookingout the back of my vert with the top up it did not throw the light out as high and as far back. Still bright enough in my opinion in a dark area, but not as much as the stock taillight. That's my experience.

I did the same, install was very easy and did even need to remove entire interior panel to remove bolts, just took out top center retainer on each side pulled back the panel and could get the socket wrench in and loosen bolts. To 30 mins start to finish, taking my sweet time. Plenty of time to enjoy a cold beer and admire my work afterwards. tey come regular red and slightly tinted which is what I opted for.
