How much to expect off a MSRP low optioned 2012?
I understand there is a rebate, what are you guys picking up new 2012 GT for low optioned, off the MSRP now the 2013 are out? What is the current rebate plus any other savings you were able to get off? Thanks.

I just recently looked at a 2012 lower optioned car.It was a GT premium. The only options it had, special candy red metalflake $395 and 18" polished wheel pkg $495 and rapid spec 401a $395 and dest fee of $795,gave it an msrp of $35,790.The brought the price down to $33,110 then took off $2500 in incentives which made it $30,10.
On top of that if you have good credit, you will get a better interest rate although you should try to arrange financing before you go.They were also offer a $750 trade in bonus, which probably looks better on paper.
But I thought $30,110 was a pretty reasonable price but of course there are taxes on top of that.If i would have went through with the deal,i would have tried for another thousand off the price and I think i could of gotten it.
Always check Edmunds,KBB or any of the other like sites to find to just true market value. You can also join Mustangs Club of America for $60 a year and get a pin for Fords X-Plan Pricing. That gets you the car for a small amount under invoice,no haggling.I did this when I got my 11 last year but in the end,I actually got a better deal not using the X-Plan.X-plan I think is for a dealer who will not budge.
Good luck, there a a lot of good deals out there, only issue I see you having is the same issue I had, they are clearing out 12's to make room for 13's so color and option choices will be pretty limited. From what I have been told, there were many more V-6's made,so there is more of a selection.I think the v-6's were their bread and butter.I found this to be pretty true because when i was looking,I did find a better selection of colors and options but they were all on v-6's.I looked for several months with a range of 300-400 miles from where i live.Still couldn't find my first color choice which was Kona Blue.
