Talking Had some work done while on vacation! Whatcha think?

Been trying to find some time to get this done, and finally last week I was able to leave it at the shop while I went on a little family vacation. I am now scoopless, AND spoilerless! I know it's not for everyone, but I love it. What do you guys think? I couldn't find a before of the hood at the same angle, but you'll get the idea.

Before

After

And as a plus; no more rock chips on the hood

This will be going on sometime next week(matte)

REALLY diggin' your ride man!
Black is BEST!
And.. you have done a great job in your alterations!

Sure looks beastly!

P.S.
I say tint those tail lights and side rear signal lights to match the theme.
Would look AWESOME.
No reason for that red to be on there, even if you have some red in the interior it doesn't really go with the exterior which is
what ppl see when you are driving down the road.
Tint those and your beast ill be completely beastly!

Tell me how you did this please. Did you purchase a new hood or remove the scoop and have the holes filled and then the hood painted?

Love the new look better. Disagree about tinting the tails. Dangerous and the red adds a nice contrast.

Thanks guys! Yeah, I'm one who really digs the look of the red in the tails. Not a huge fan of tinted tails/headlights. The side markers on the other hand will be done soon enough...

Haven't thought about it, really. I know it's not going back on the car, so I'm not opposed to it. I'll have to check the condition after being removed. I do know that it has at least one rock chip in it, and the paint on it is a bit swirly, lol. Nothing that couldn;t be fixed. Hey, i know, I'll trade you straight up for those snake skins in your ridelol. I'll look over it this coming week and try to get some pics for ya!

Just removed the scoop and had the holes filled and then repainted. To be honest, all I was gonna do is have the holes filled/primed and then have the decal placed over top with no repaint bc it won't change from that any time soon, but I guess since the scoop has been on for so long through bumps, opening/shutting the hood etc, that there were small dents under the scoop. I guess where it bolted up mainly. So he had to get all the dents out and decided to just paint it for me. The decklid on the other hand I found on Ebay last year for $300 factory primed(sans spoiler holes), and had it painted.

Hahaha! You gave me a good laugh! I'm too in love with those leather seats to give them up. Huge difference from stock cloth.

Well, if you plan on selling it, let me know how much you want for it and I may consider it. I don't mind if it's slightly damaged, my hood is pretty scratched up from the damn stray cats on the street. I plan on getting the whole car repainted in the future when I'm done paying off the car.

I like it with the hood scoop but LOVE it spoiler-less. Good call.
