Try poorboys wheel sealant or something similar. A wheel sealant will, IMO, hold up the best since that is what it is designed for. Sonax also makes a great wheel cleaner, spray on, brush lightly (if needed), rinse, dry then apply a coat or 2 or the wheel sealant. helps keep down the brake dust also.

I have poorboys wheel sealant and colinite 845 is more durable. I stopped using my poorboys sealant. I also stopped using Sonax Full effect wheel cleaner. its ok to use every once in a while to help dissolve iron deposits. but I find for the price its not worth it at 15.99 for 16oz. I buy a gallon of mother foaming all Wheel and tire cleaner. It works pretty much just as good and cost alot less and can be had in the 24oz size bottles just about anywhere for around 6bucks at walmart.
