Talking Orange Coilover Covers

I recently traded my 2012 V6 Premium, for a 2011 5.0 w. 40,000 miles on it, and it was never titled (Mfg Plated car used for training when 5.0's came out) Serial # 902

So I ordered some Boss 302 COC's and took the stock COC's and had them painted in 8 coats of HG orange.

Yeah, didn't expect it to come out that big.

I just nabbed another set of COC's I am going to have done in GHIG

Appears to be Ingot Silver....I like the orange. Been thinking about that color as accent under the hood of mt GT/CS.

I would guess they are, but considering it is a premium Auto, heated leather, shaker 500, Ford Certified, 6yr/100,000 Bumper to Bumper Warranty, 1st owner titled (me) new tires, brake pads, rotors, all fluids changed, and a service history record from FMC that barely fits in a 3 ring 3" binder... all for $19,700 out the door, plus a check back for my 2012 V6 trade of $2200 and change. It was a steal.

Plus the dealer through in a valet key, because I always buy a Valet key in case I lock the keys in the car (happens often) so i keep the valet in my wallet (which is always on my person)

I love it, I never would have bought a used Mustang but considering it's history and the fact it was never titled so registered as new... I couldn't pass it up.

plus it is Sterling Grey Metallic a color I have wanted for years but could never find with the options I wanted.

Plus, I also have a 2012 Black GT base model Automatic with 5369 miles on it that is coming up on 1 year old September 22nd

I do have a question for the folks following this thread... What color would you do the Plenum cover. I was thinking orange to match but after looking it at it would be too much orange, so I thought about Grabber Blue or the blue from the Boss 302 COC's

Oh yeah, PIC of my 2012

And this was the WHITE V6 I traded for the 2011 SGM.

I added the Boss 302 stripes w/o Boss nomenclature

SGM as in Sterling Grey Metallic? cuz that pony looks black to me...

If it is black, nice choice on the orange, it really stands out.
May i suggest that you keep the plenum cover black and accent it with orange inserts? Also add black letter inserts to the coil covers for a nice eye-popping negative effect

You can get the inserts here:

here's a thread for some design ideas too:
