You really are an a-hole for not posting them up since the beginning :P.
Jk. It looks great! Good job on the execution! This is a must for light colored Mustangs. I know I've told you this once before, but nice house!
LOL. Thanks again. I can only mod the car when the house doesn't need modding. lol. I agree with you. The glass roof option is excellent for it's looks on light colored cars, but those of us who did not want that option should still get the benefits of the looks. This was a great, simple solution. The 3M 1080 Scotchbright is some adavance sh-it, too. Goes on dry, can be peeled back up and won't set until firm pressure is applied. Neat stuff. Has what I guess can be described as poures to allow the air under to escape. No air bubbles at all.
Thanks for adding more pics! I'm definitely doing this ASAP! Idk how I've waited this long. That looks fantastic!
It's pretty simple. Pop off the side channels being careful not no break them. You may have to re-adhere them for re-install. Put you vinyl down, stretch and flatten it out, tuck the front and back, and re-install the side channels. Took me a couple hours with a friend but we were taking our time.
Sorry to keep you guys in suspense! What an a-hole I am. I didn't even think to do close ups. But they are up now.
LMAO...yes, you are an a-hole!!! Just kidding bud. That looks so darn good I just have to do it. Thanks for the pictures...I sincerely appreciate it.
One question: What is holding the side channels down? Is there 3M tape or clips, or what? What did you use to re-adhere? What did you use to pry them up with? Can you come do mine too?
Okay, okay, more than one question...guess what? I'm an a-hole too!
PS. I'm thinking of maybe experimenting with a 3M carbon fiber vinyl. Too much?
