Blacked out the roof, some new pics!

Damn that is glossy!!! I was afraid it would be a half-a**ed gloss like a lot of the vinyl you find these days. Makes me want to rethink going matte white!
Yerbuddy- IMHO CF vinyl is homo. Real CF is great.

LMAO...yes, you are an a-hole!!! Just kidding bud. That looks so darn good I just have to do it. Thanks for the pictures...I sincerely appreciate it.
One question: What is holding the side channels down? Is there 3M tape or clips, or what? What did you use to re-adhere? What did you use to pry them up with? Can you come do mine too?
Okay, okay, more than one question...guess what? I'm an a-hole too!
PS. I'm thinking of maybe experimenting with a 3M carbon fiber vinyl. Too much?

Yea, the scotchbright 1080 is good stuff. Much better than the cheap stuff and still reasonably priced.

They are held down by 3m tape and clips. The easiest way it to start at the back and carefully pry up and work forward. I actually replaced the 3m tape with new stuff since it ripped. I really like the carbon fibre sheets but here was my thoughts. It wouldn't blend with the dark tint like I wanted and if I needed to stretch the material at all, the design would be skewed. But I think the carbon fibre is much thicker and stronger so you shouldn't need to stretch. But who knows. Go to YouTube, there is a video by 3M where they wrap a roof of a GT500 at SEMA in carbon fibre.
