Hey guys , im about to buy a 2012/2013 gt , i dont own astang yet , but today i saw this amazing gt500 and it look so much more aggresive than the regular gt 2013, here come the question , besides the bottom lip, stripes ,grille, hood and rims, does the gt500 has widere fender also??
Im trying to get a gt , trow some coil overs on it and keep it na .

GT500 is the same body - and while the front fascia appears to be exactly the same, I understand that there are differences so that the grill for example is not interchangeable on the 2013 model year.

For earlier model years (up to 2012) the body was the same, but the front fascia of the GT500 was unique to that model.

Another big difference from the GT - that you didn't mention - for 2013 it comes with a 5.8L supercharged V8. For a 2012 you get the 5.4L supercharged V8 and the unique front fascia.

I believe that the rear fascia is unique to the GT500 for all years as well (although for the 2008 for example it is the same rear fascia as the GT/CS but with a different paint scheme)

The only difference between the 2013 GT and the GT500 is the hood and rear spoiler. Same engine and everything. Just adds more down-force making the car faster and handle more gooder.

No it is not the same engine!
The GT has the 5.0, naturally aspirated. 420hp

The GT500 has the 5.8, supercharged with 662 hp.

There is a big difference in the engines.
