To lower or not to lower
#22
I just dropped my 3.7 with just rear springs by Stack Racing, I added a J&M adj. panhard
bar to move the chassis back over the rear axle to the driver's side 1/2 inch. Today I''ll
install BMR rear lower control arms on the whiteline brackets. Oil change & lube with a
white lithium grease and Roanstang will be leveled out. The 1 1/2 drop in the rear leveled
the pony.

Lowering it is a must, deciding how much you want to lower it is the real question. If you plan on modifying your front end with a body kit, you may not want to lower it too much. Good luck!

My 3.7 is an auto, now that I dropped the rear when I shift into 2nd from a burnout
I hear a loud bang! I think it may be the driveshaft hitting the tunnel? I may need an
adjustable uca. Dang!

try to keep it under 1.5" My stupid Mustang bottoms out far too much (more than any other car I've had) and the ride is stiff. too stiff. not like unliveable, but enough that I want to change to different dampers. I currently have FRPP K-Springs. My solution is going to go with tires that are a little taller than my 27.03" tires (255/40R19) when I install my 20's. like a 28" that the GT500 runs in the rear and something a hair taller up front should fix the situation. Changing to Koni dampers will also soften the ride.

Lower as much as you want but just make sure to change out your dampers at the same time.
My car now on H&R Super Sport (1.7"/2.4") and Koni STR.T shocks & struts rides 10x better than it did on TEIN S-Tech springs (1"/1.9") and stock dampers.
Sure, my car is too low for street practicality, especially with a body kit, but I love how it looks
