Default Saleen Grille

This may have been beaten to death but has anyone had any luck getting their hands on a Saleen Grille for a 2010-2012 mustang gt? I knew i should have bought one last year but did not pay attention to the whole SMS, Steve Saleen stuff that was going on. Does any one know if they will ever come back with these grilles or am I just stuck with having to buy something else?

well, as you know, they are discontinued and unavailable.

you'll have to follow up with saleen to see if they plan to bring the product back in the future.

the roush grill is a great alternative, I love mine.

Thanks Entaille, how do you like the Roush, fit, look, etc? I have heard good things about the Roush. How would you describe your install?

the installation was super easy, took less than an hour, and I was taking my time. fit and finish is very OEM like - I've had mine on for a year and it's taken several blows from rocks, but looks perfect still.

this is the best 'front on' shot I have that shows the grill.

The Saleen name, once again under the helm of Steve Saleen and Saleen Automotive, has no plans to re-release this grille any time soon.

Remember that this grille was part of a body kit for 2010 Mustangs that was designed and produced by another company that was using the Saleen name. That company sold the design and inventory to another company which is now having financial problems, and everything's on hold. My understanding is that the existing inventory was sold off, and I doubt they'll be available again.

Looks like it will be a Roush grill then. I have tried to find a used Saleen Grille as well but it is looking to be too much of a hassle and of course patients is not on my side. I wander if i should paint the outsides of the grill, sorta like the V6 look?

I know this was already stated above, but the Roush grille is a great option if you're looking for a similar style. I wish we could still bring the Saleen grilles in, though! Sorry.
