Default Just gave my 2013 a nose job

It's been a while since I touched the car,
but I got an upper grille last week and installed one day at lunch.
Then I took out my stock lower grill and modified it.
today my splitter showed up, so I threw that on at lunch...

beautiful! I am not a fan of the honey comb style OEM mesh, that looks so much better.

.. pair that in with one of the most beautiful dark blue colors, winning combo right there!

That grill makes the car. Well done. From the pix, I can't quite tell what you did to the lower section. Looks like you cut out most of the center of it but, as I said, can't really tell.

I removed the grille, then cut within 1/4" of the edge all the way around with a 4.5" cutoff wheel on a grinder. then used a diegrinder and got it close to the edge, then spent a couple hours with a file to smooth it out, but then the back edge had a stepped pattern that alternated with the honeycomb, and it was not deep enough. It didnt look good. So I took a piece of of kydex like material that I was able to heat form and molded a new insert to fit into the lower grille surround to extend it 3" Now I am OK with it.

Love the front end! Very mean looking! The splitter and horizontal bar grille make for a great pair. Great improvements to an already great looking frond end.
