Default Cell phone holder/cradle

Figured this may be the best forum for this question - I've been trying for a while to find a phone holder/cradle that would fit reasonably in the 2011 dash. I am not a fan of mounts that hang from the windshield , and while I have a vent-mounted holder in my other cars - it won't fit in the stang. I even tried the one that would stick in the CD slot, but it sits too low and blocks too much of the controls

Any recommendations are appreciated.

I too am looking for a good cell holder for my iphone. I think Wess has one that he said worked really well. Maybe he will chime in here.

I think Scosche may have one, if I'm not mistaken. You may wanna take a look. Or it may just be an iPad holder.

Which device mount do you use? Is it sturdy and can be angled properly?

+10 on ProClip

I Frankensteined together a dash mount using a GPS mount and it worked decent unless I stomped on the gas, in which case I had to be prepared to catch said mount. The ProClip is costy, but it's worth every penny to me.

The only con I have is how the two pieces join is via a small screw which seems to loosen over time. I think I'm going to get it set how I like it and Gorilla Glue it together, that should keep everything nice and snug.

I bought the following pieces for my 2010:
- ProClip Center Mount, 2010-2013 Ford Mustang - Item #854365
- Charging Holder with Tilt Swivel & Adapter for Samsung Galaxy S III - Item #512398

It is pricey if you have to buy the whole package, but if you buy a new phone or get a new car, it's just another $30 for either of those pieces. When I bought the Mustang, just had to pay $30 for the vehicle mount and just re-used my current phone bracket.

The fit is great and it looks clean. No bulky and messy looking universal brackets. It looks like it was designed specifically for your car and your phone because it actually was.

I personally haven't had any issues with the screw in the pivot coming lose, but then I positioned mine where I wanted it and then tightened it down so nothing will move at all.

I don't use mine often...but I have one that fits nicely into the charger right in the middle of the dash. its supposed to charge and hold the phone at the same time. it was for a iphone and because I have an android now I just use it to hold my phone.

I just got a cell phone mount and had a hard time finding photos/examples of phone mounts, so I wanted to chime in. I was completely against the windshield mounts at first, but after buying and returning a vent mount and a socket mount, I am completely satisfied with this windshield mount. It'll set you back about $25-$30 (staples). Note, I have a big phone (Galaxy note 3).

Scosche "StuckUP" 4 in 1 universal mounting kit.
